Residential Reverse Osmosis feed

.
The Residential Reverse Osmosis are of two types; 6 or 7-stage RO units.

The standard unit is 50 GPD (Gallons Per Day) capacity. (Note: we can supply 75, and 100 GPD RO units). These RO units may require a Booster Pump if feed water has low pressure, and a Permeate Pump if the distance between the RO unit and the sink is more than 25':

This RO unit is installed under the sink. It supplies bottle quality water through a dedicated faucet.  It comes complete with a storage tank #TNK4 that holds 3.2 gallon of water, and all standard connections and fittings for installation.

Note: Above RO units are for city water applications. Well waters require a brackish membrane and that involves an additonal cost. Further more the higher the TDS  the lower the efficiency of the RO system, in other words it will mitigate waters with high TDS (i.e. Product water is relative to feed water).

The Difference Between Permeate Pumps & Booster Pumps:

  • Permeate Pump (PP): affects the pressure leaving the RO system, it increases the pressure inside the storage tank to allow it to deliver water to longer distances and at a decent flow rate.
  • Booster Pump (BP): increases the pressure of water entering the RO system, boosting its pressure to above 40 psi (the minimum pressure needed to operate an RO system).
